The Earl Haig Secondary School science department offers courses based on the Ontario Curriculum, namely junior sciences in grade 9 and 10 and elective senior Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Earth and Space Science. University and College level senior courses are offered to support a variety of STEM pathways. Courses include hands-on lab enrichment to support and enhance traditional academic activities, while science competitions, fairs and contests allow students opportunities to explore beyond the school environment.
