Excursion Management Application (EMA)

We have fully converted to EMA online which will provide a more efficient and automated process to better support student safety and continue our commitment to modernize and digitize TDSB processes. This process will be used for athletics, in-person, and virtual excursions, which allow educators to expand learning opportunities. Please ensure that you have created an account online and have added your child(ren) to the account. This is where you will be able to update the medical form and complete the permission form.   

To create an account: 

• Go to  https://parent.ema.tdsb.on.ca/ 
• Click on Login 
• You will need the following information before proceeding: email address child’s student number postal code.This information should match what we have in our database. 
• Type your email and click on verify email. 
• You will get a 6-digit code in your email inbox (Alternatively, please check your junk mail) 
• Type the 6-digit code and verify button (within a 5-minute period, the code will expire) 
• Create a password (follow criteria) 
• Confirm New Password 
• Enter student number. 
• Enter postal code. 
• Click checkbox to Agree to the terms. 
• Click create. You will get a warning message if there are any errors. 
• Once successfully created, you will get an email confirmation. 
• Go back to https://parent.ema.tdsb.on.ca/ 
• Log in with email and password. 
• Click Sign In. 

We encourage you to log into these accounts at the beginning of each school year to ensure you have no difficulties logging in. This will prevent last minute complications when trying to provide permission for field trips.
