Grade 8 Parents,

Welcome back to the new school year! Please check the attachment for the information related to Secondary School Information Evenings.  Please attend many secondary school information nights to get more information and a feel for a Grade 9 placement for your child.  

We will be setting a date in October for our Grade 8 Parents Transition Information Night, to remind you of the Secondary School Information Evenings and other information related to Grade 8 to Grade 9 transitions. We also invite the Grade 8 Graduation Trip representatives to share information about the YEAR END GRADE 8 TRIP. I will forward the dates to each family as we confirm with the trip representatives.

I will also be meeting with all the Grade 8 students in the month of September to explain the process for the year and begin the transition process.

I will be asking all the Grade 8 students to check in with their parent(s)/guardian to make sure they are getting my information electronically.  I will accommodate any family that requests a hard copy. Please ask your child to drop by my office for the information.  If you are not getting the electronic communication from the school, PLEASE send in your email address to the main office so that we can communicate with you on a regular basis.
