School Council is made up of a group of parents in the community. The School Council advises the Administration on a variety of issues concerning the community and are a very important voice within the school. They are also responsible for the majority of the fundraising done at John G. and are the driving force behind our most successful fundraising activity: Pizza Lunch.
While there are a specific group of voting members of the council all parents are encouraged to attend meetings and share their opinions and ideas with the community at large.
The parent council are also responsible for helping to organize and run the grade 8 graduation celebration at the end of the year. This sub-committee is open to all parents who have children at our school and we encourage you to take part!
