The John G. Althouse Grade 8 Graduation Planning Committee will be meeting on Tuesday, April 16^th in room 202 (Mr. Samec's classroom), located in the upstairs hallway, at 7pm.

The graduation committee is led by Grade 8 parents who plan the decor, food and music for the event. The Grade 8 parents are responsible for setting up the auditorium and the cafeteria at Martingrove Collegiate the afternoon and evening before graduation.

Grade 6 & 7 parents also help with the set-up for the event, but their primary role will be to run the reception during graduation and look after the clean-up of the auditorium and the cafeteria, so that Grade 8 parents can enjoy the event with their graduates.

Graduation is scheduled for Thursday, June 20^th. We will need volunteers to work in shifts on Wednesday, June 19^th and Thursday, June 20^th.
