At Shirley Street P.S. we practise eco-friendly habits in our daily activities. We have an Eco Club that meets weekly with a teacher rep to work on eco initiatives. Embedded into our class routines and lessons is the focus and importance of protecting and supporting our environment.  Staff and students take on the everyday responsibilities of maintaining a clean school and reducing our energy use to a minimum.  We separate waste, paper, plastic, tin and compost in an effort to reduce our overall waste output as a school.
