Early French Immersion Program - Application Information

To apply for the Early French Immersion Program (JK entry) for September 2024, applications must be completed online.

An offer of placement in the program (not a specific school) is guaranteed to all on-time applicants and will be made in the weeks following the close of the application window.

Please note: Families with an older sibling currently enrolled in the same French program and who will be in attendance next year are still required to complete an online application for the new student. Please select the “sibling option” within the online application.

For more information about the Early French Immersion (JK) application process, please go to the tdsb website:

*Please note that Broadlands now begins in Junior Kindergarten.

Cash Online

Our school has moved to an online system for collecting payments. To register for School Cash Online, select “Get Started Today” and complete the three registration steps.

Broadlands Pathway

The most common pathway for students currently enrolled at Broadlands PS for the French Immersion program is Broadlands (JK to 5) – Windfields (6-8) – York Mills (9-12).  However, please note that the Pathway is dependent upon a child's home address. Due to recent boundary changes, some Broadlands' students may follow different pathways.

Students whose Homeschool would be Fenside, Rene Gordon, or Roywood follow - Don Valley MS (6-8) - York Mills CI (9-12).

Students whose Homeschool would be Gateway, Grenoble or O'Connor follow - DA Morrison MS (6-8) - East York  CI (9-12).

Who do I speak to when I have questions/concerns?

We want to work with our Broadlands community and families.  Attached is a link outlining of who to contact when questions and concerns arise.
