Message From Principal Morris
Woo Hoo we made it! What an awesome year this has been. This will be the final newsletter this year with some reminders as we go along. It fills my heart with joy and pride to see how much our students have grown and achieved this school year. Our students have made friends, shared laughter, and overcome challenges together. They have shown us their boundless curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, reminding us of the beauty in embracing new knowledge every day. My hope is that they continue to embrace the challenges that come their way with the same determination and resilience that you have shown us all year long.
Thanks go out to our School Council and all their volunteers who have done so much for our school. Thank you for the guest speakers, the volunteering for field trips and reading, the many resources you have provided to our staff, Pizza Lunches, our Move-a-Thon, the Astronomy Dome and so much more. Thank you for being such a strong voice in our community and working with us to help build the school as a great hub for us all.
In the newsletter below you will see a list of all those who are leaving and returning to Timberbank next year. Personally I want to thank you all for the support you have given me over the year and the positive comments that have come my way throughout. This has been an amazing year and I continue to feel welcomed into your community every day. I am pleased to call Timberbank my home and I am looking forward to all the awesome things to come in the years ahead. To our Grade 6 students, we wish you all the best as you head to different schools next year, ‘shoot for the moon, you may just end up landing in the stars’ - unknown
To all those who are, in whatever manner you are, Happy Father’s Day! For all those who cannot be with their dads, may you keep them in your thoughts throughout the day. And for all those whose dads are no longer with them, may their memory be a blessing to you and your families. To those families who celebrate without fathers for whatever reason, we hope you will be blessed with peace and love.
As we head into our summer, please take time to wind down, relax and reflect on all the amazing things you and your children have accomplished this school year. Have a great summer filled with fun and laughter!
