LUNCH PROGRAM BY KIDS KITCHEN
Kids Kitchen will be offering hot lunch on Thursdays (in addition to Mondays and Wednesdays) starting AFTER the Thanksgiving weekend. This will be on a trial basis. The company needs a minimum of 100 orders on the third day to continue this offer.
- The minimum amount required for an order has been reduced to $4.50
- For families placing orders for 3 or more children, a 10% discount will be applied. Please inform the school office if this applies to you.
- Brownies will no longer be on the menu.
A reminder that as an eco-school, lunches are boomerang (everything goes back home) including the hot lunches. This allows for students to take home uneaten portions for later and for parents to see how much their child is eating. We will be reminding students to repack what they don’t eat into the brown bag. Some parents send an empty container for the child to put their uneaten portions to avoid spillage.
Please note that you can opt out of having cutlery if you want to send your child with their own. Packaging of the hot lunches ensures food is hot, has the preferences you have selected, clearly labeled with your child’s name and avoids contamination with other foods, keeping allergies in mind
