EMA

In order to participate on School Sports Teams, students will need to have completed permission forms. The TDSB utilizes EMA for this process. You can access EMA here. When in EMA you will need to navigate to the "Athletics" tab and find the sport you wish to register for. On a mobile phone, you will need to find the button with 3 lines to find the tabs where athletics is found. Note: Sports labelled Grade 6 are for grades 4-6; Sports labelled Grade 5 are for grades 4+5.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Grade 5,6 volleyball practices continue every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at lunch.  As well as Monday and Thursday's afterschool.

HOCKEY

The hockey season is getting near. We will be practicing at Ted Reeve on Wednesday, December 3rd and Wednesday, December 10th. Our ice time is from 8am to 9am. In the new year we will also be practicing on Wednesday, January 7th, 14th, and 21st.

Please ensure that you fill out a permission form on EMA before our first practice: https://parent.ema.tdsb.on.ca/#/ (look for Ice Hockey under the athletics tab) Thanks to those who have already completed this. 

Parents are responsible for transportation to and from practice, hopefully there are a few carpools that can help out.

Everyone who signs up for hockey will be placed on one of our two teams. The Division 1 Team is usually made of older Students who play GTHL hockey, while the Division 2 Team is usually younger students and students who play house league hockey or are new to hockey. Games are usually at lunch time, starting in January, and finishing in February, with playoffs in March. The schedule has not yet been released, I will update you as soon as I know more.

You also have the option of a custom hockey sweater with your athlete's name on it. I'll send details about that, after I confirm pricing. (last year they were $100+tax) This is optional, we do have sweaters to loan out.

PRIMARY INTRAMURALS

Primary Intramurals at lunch have already begun and students are very enthusiastic! They will continue each day until mid-December with Fridays being make-up days in case a class misses it for any reason. Thank you to Mr. Violo for giving our primary students the opportunity to be introduced to sports activities ahead of entering the junior years.
