Character Education is the most important kind of learning that happens in our school. Every effort is made to teach, emphasize and reward the demonstration of character traits.
A Character Assembly is held monthly to celebrate Yorkview's commitment to Character Education and Eco-Citizenship. The purpose of such an assembly is to create, nurture, and sustain a sense of community and to provide an opportunity for staff to celebrate student achievement, share the monthly attributes and acknowledge those who went above and beyond for the school and community.
