Burnhamthorpe Eco Code

By: Rafael Lopez (2024/2025)

In the whispers of the trees, a warning sighs

The earth is aching under polluted skies

Rivers once clear, now murky and brown,

Nature’s vibrant colors fading, wearing a frown.

The ice caps are melting, the oceans rise high,

Creatures are losing their homes, and we wonder why.

Smoke fills the air, choking our breath,

A planet in peril, facing slow death

Yet, hope still blooms in the hearts that unite.

With courage and action, we’ll join the fight

For every small change, a ripple will start,

Together we’ll heal the Earth, with love as our art.
