PA DAYS

During the school year, TDSB school staff participate in several Professional Activity (PA) Days. These days, while students remain at home, are an opportunity for our staff to engage in professional learning or communication with parents through parent-teacher conferences, which directly impacts and enhances student learning.

As per the Ministry of Education’s Policy/Program Memorandum (PPM) 151, Professional Activity Days Devoted to Provincial Education Priorities, school boards must designate three Ministry-mandated PA Days. This year, these PA days will focus on the priority areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Curriculum Implementation, Student Well-being, School Safety, and Violence Prevention. Staff active participation in these days is crucial in achieving the TDSB’s Multi-Year Strategic Plan priorities.
