Experiencing first ever school could be intimidating for not only children but for parents as well. Here at Ecole Elmlea we want to make that experience as smooth sailing as possible for parents as well as child.

If your child will be 4 before December 2019 he/she can start Junior Kindergarten in September. If your child will be 5 before December 2019 he/she can start Senior Kindergarten in September.  

Ecole Elmlea is proud to be one of the 56 schools across TDSB that offer entry to the Early French Immersion Program.The Early Immersion Program begins in Senior Kindergarten. It offers 100% French instruction in the classroom until the end of grade 3, although some specialist subjects may be taught in English. English instruction is gradually introduced beginning in grade 4 until it becomes a half-day program from Grades 6-8.
