Experiencing first ever school could be intimidating for not only children but for parents as well. Here at Ecole Elmlea we want to make that experience as smooth sailing as possible for parents as well as for our students, your children.




IMPORTANT FRENCH IMMERSION: If you would like your child to be a part of our French Immersion program next fall, registration closed on December 1, 2024. French Immersion for Elmlea students must begin in Junior Kindergarten.

To attend Junior Kindergarten in September, children must turn four years old by December 31. To register for Senior Kindergarten, children must be five years old by December 31.

Ecole Elmlea is proud to be one of the 56 schools across TDSB that offer entry to the Early French Immersion Program.The Early Immersion Program begins in Senior Kindergarten. It offers 100% French instruction in the classroom until the end of grade 3, although some specialist subjects may be taught in English. English instruction is gradually introduced beginning in grade 4 until it becomes a half-day program from Grades 6-8.
