It builds students confidence in mathematics, science and technology and prepares them for the challenges of the new century. Through STEM tasks/activities, the students will prepare themselves to be GLOBAL learners and leaders. In other words, STEM will enable students to create solutions for the many challenges in society (classroom, community, world). As early as kindergarten, the students can begin to ask questions, plan, design, build and test a model or structure, or simply think about how technology has impacted the world (e.g., the invention of wheels has enabled the creation of wheelchairs). In essence STEM is all about the power of PERSEVERANCE!
