Admissions to Central Technical School (CTS)
Admission to Central Technical School is handled through two distinct application streams only:
- Specialized Arts Program
- Secondary School Without a Boundary (SSWAB)
Both streams require an application through Central Admissions (TDSB).
STREAM 1. Specialized Arts Program
This program is for students seeking advanced studies in the arts. Please see the central TDSB website for more information.
- Application Window: November 24th to December 12th at noon
- Requirements (these are for all TDSB Specialized Art Programs):
- Applicants must upload a portfolio as part of their application.
- Applicants may not have more than two marks below the provincial standard on their academic record.

STREAM 2. Secondary School Without a Boundary (SSWAB)
CTS is no longer a neighbourhood school. No student has an automatic "Right of Access" to CTS based on residence. All interested students must apply through the SSWAB process.
