About Us

The Art Club meetis every Wednesday from 3:10 - 4:00 p.m. in Mr. Lafazanis' room. The Art Club inspires students of Charles Gordon to demonstrate their artistic talents. Students are working in small groups to design banners for a national banner contest. The banner designs represent issues or topics that are important to Canadian youth. The students whose banner design is selected will have their banner hung in Ottawa so that everyone in the capital can see their great art work and what is important to Canadian youth.

Accomplishments

• To work in small groups to design banners for the government's banner contest
• To create entries for the Design A Bookmark contest

Goals

• To provide students with several opportunities to experience different mediums
• To discuss different artists, interests and styles
