About Us

The knitting club is a group of grade 7 and 8 students who meet weekly to learn about and apply the basics of knitting. This club is open to both experienced knitters as well as to students who have never knit before.


Accomplishments

• learned how to cast on and cast off
• learned the basic knit stitch required to knit scarves

Goals

• to knit individual 6" x 6" squares that can be sewn together to make a large quilt
• to auction off or sell raffle tickets to win the quilt and donate the money raised to Me 2 We
