Bienvenue/Welcome to l'École Publique Dallington Public School, home of the Dragons!

You have landed on the Principal's message page! My name is Frank Costa and I am the proud principal at Dallington Public School. On behalf of the staff at our school, I would like to welcome you.

Dallington PS is a JK - Gr. 5, dual track school. We have wonderful staff who are dedicated to creating a rich, exciting, and extensive educational experience for every student. 

Dallington is a large, vibrant school situated in the Don Valley Village next to beautiful Dallington Park. Our school consists of a regular English program and French Immersion program that begin in Junior Kindergarten. After grade 5, our students continue their studies at a variety of junior high schools.

Our school motto is, “We are respectful, responsible and resourceful – Nous sommes respectueux, responsables et ingénieux”. FIREBALL is our dragon mascot, named by our students. The name is an acronym which reflects our school values:

F is for fairness, fun, and friendship

I is for iridescent

R is for reliable

E is for energetic

B is for blazing

A is for active, athletic, and adaptable

L is for loyal

L is for lively

I believe that all children can learn and that it is our responsibility to ensure that it happens!!!!! 

Family members of our students play an equally important role in every child’s learning experience. I encourage family members to be active participants in the daily learning activities and school experiences of their children. An open, two-way path of communication is vital to the success of our students.
