The Bird Whisperer

One day, during a normal science class for the Grade 7s of H.P, a keen-eyed student spotted a little bird by the window. The student alerted Ms. Schipper and she allowed small groups of students to observe the bird. Unfortunately, people kept inching closer and closer to the bird to take pictures. The bird began to feel agitated and scared. Very suddenly, the bird left its perch on the window ledge and flew into the classroom. This created shock and panic throughout the classroom, some people even screamed. The bird was only about 10 cm, but some students looked more frightened of the bird than the bird was of the students. It was a hilarious event for the students, but not the terrified bird. Ms. Schipper quickly settled the class and sent for help. After a few minutes the saviour of the bird showed up, Mr. Wallace, or as the students call him, The Bird Whisperer. He had a pole in his hand and somehow convinced the bird to get on it. The bird was then brought to the window where it said its goodbyes and flew away. The Grade 7’s cheered as the bird flew away, they all thanked Mr. Wallace for his service. Mr. Wallace is indeed the Bird Whisperer!
