Jackman Avenue Junior Public School is an engaging place to learn.  We are an inclusive community school where learning and community engagement are valued.

E – Engaged: We focus, do our best, and participate actively in class and school activities. 

S – Sharing Space: We are mindful of how we share space with others, within our school and community.

Our work is guided by the Toronto District School Board’s Multi-Year Strategic Plan, which serves as a roadmap towards realizing the collective vision for the students and staff served by the TDSB and is a reflection of the rich perspectives, ideas, and goals of TDSB communities. Our School Improvement Plan aligns with the TDSB MYSP and supports student achievement, belonging and well-being, with Equity as a guiding principle, and a commitment to Truth and Reconciliation: Calls to Action. 

We value our School Council and parent volunteers who partner with us to provide learning and community opportunities to our students and families. Together we are ensuring that students achieve academic success, find joy in learning, feel a sense of belonging in  our school community and thrive! We are looking forward to another amazing year at Jackman!
