SUMMER SCHOOL 2024 AT KVJS

This year Kingsview Village Junior School will be hosting a summer school program for students from kindergarten to grade 8. The focus of the 2024 Elementary Literacy, Numeracy and STEAM Summer School Program is to continue student engagement through July.

The Programs are from 9:00am to 12:00pm, from July 2 to July 26, 2024.  This year students in grade 3 to 8 that register for the Kingsview Summer School Program can register for Kingsview’s Jays Camp RBI Summer Edition program that is a camp, that is focused on sports, games fun and baseball. This camp will run from 12:00 to 4:00pm and will have an optional after care program that will run from 4:00 to 5:30pm (campers must bring their own lunch and will be given an afternoon snack in the program).  For parents that want their children registered in the Jays Camps for longer there is an opportunity to register students for a second session that runs from July 29 to August 9, at 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (no camp on August 5, 2024)

Afternoon Jays Camp RBI Summer Edition

RBI Summer Edition is a free afternoon baseball-for-development program for Grades 3 to 8 hosted at 14 elementary schools. Throughout July, students registered for half-day summer school can opt to join the RBI Summer Edition program for the afternoon.

In the afternoon, students will engage in a wide range of recreational activities including cooperative games, arts and crafts, team-building, and inclusive baseball training. Throughout July, the program runs from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with the opportunity to extend to 5:30 pm for aftercare. After TDSB summer school ends, students can register for a full-day program from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm during the first two weeks of August. Please note – students will be required to provide their lunch.

Note: Jays Camp RBI Summer Edition is a distinct and separate program from the Elementary Summer School at the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). This unique camp is proudly run by the Jays Care Foundation. These programs operate independently of each other, and registration for one does not imply enrollment in the other. We encourage everyone to review the specific details, procedures, and policies for both programs in the registration requirements before enrollment.
