About Us

Principal's Message

Kingsview Village is a vibrant and positive school with a very dedicated and experienced staff, and a tremendously supportive parent council and community. Our school is at the heart of the community.

We are very excited about this school year! We will continue to focus on improving student achievement in mathematics through ongoing professional development opportunities for our staff insuring strong math programs in our classrooms; offering after school support for Grades 3, 4 and 5 students in our Math Clubs; and online mathematics homework for all students using various programs. We have a strong focus on reading instruction in all of our classrooms, and our staff collaborate to stay updated with best literacy instruction practices. We also have an extensive amount of additional support available to support students with special needs, and can access the many supports and services that are available through the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). Technology continues to transform all areas of our lives, and considerable resources are devoted to integrating electronic devices and resources into all of our classrooms.

Kingsview Village staff as well as our parent council offer a wide range of additional programs for our students in sports, the arts, environmental stewardship, Future Aces and character education, and robotics, to name but a few programs that serve to further our students education, health, well-being, and engagement in education. We are also fortunate to be a part of the TDSB’s Model Schools program and benefit from additional resources which serve to enhance all aspects of our school.

Here's to a smooth and successful school year for all our students, staff and families of Kingsview Village!
