Welcome to C.R. Marchant

C.R. Marchant Updates

Good Afternoon CR Families,

What a fantastic week it's been at CR Marchant! There’s so much happening in and around our school, and our students continue to shine.

Our Track Team has been training hard, showing off their speed and teamwork. The Dance Crew took their talents on the road with an exciting performance at TDSB Creates, and many of our students are busy preparing for the upcoming Waterloo Math Contest and our Heritage Celebration Performances happening in the second week of May.

As the weather warms up (finally!), we kindly remind families to send students with refillable water bottles to keep them hydrated throughout the day. Also, please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather, as we’re still seeing some big temperature swings from morning to afternoon.

Thank you for your continued support. We wish you all a safe and relaxing weekend!

πŸ—³οΈ Federal Election Day – Monday, April 28, 2025

Polling Station at CR Marchant MS

πŸ“ Location: Lindsay Auditorium
πŸ•˜ Date: Monday, April 28, 2025

CR Marchant MS is proud to support the 2025 Federal Elections by serving as an official polling station.

While school will be in session as usual, we want to share the protocols that will ensure a safe and smooth experience for all:

πŸ”’ Safety & Separation Measures:

  • The Lindsay Auditorium will be closed to students and staff on election day.

  • Voters will enter through dedicated exterior doors directly beside the auditorium.

  • Clear signage will guide voters, and Elections Canada staff will be on-site to direct traffic and ensure voters stay within the polling zone.

🏫 These steps help maintain a safe environment and support democratic participation without disrupting student learning.

πŸ™Œ Thank you for your support in making this a safe and successful election day for our community.
