As directed by the Ontario Ministry of Education, we are required to review the residency documents of students registered at the TDSB Virtual Secondary School (VSS) at the start of each school year to ensure that the student and parent(s)/caregiver(s) reside in Ontario.

To meet this Ministry requirement, all parents/guardians of VSS students will need to complete the attestation process by showing original copies of their proof of residency.  You can complete this process in our Main Office located in Rm 255 at Central Technical School (725 Bathurst Ave). 

You must bring one document from Category A and Category B from the list below.  Please note that original documents must be shown in-person. An Ontario driver’s license, Health Card, Credit card statement, or cell phone bill are not acceptable forms of documentation to confirm a student’s residence. 

Access to VSS classes will only be provided to students once they complete the attestation process.  Students who do not complete the attestation process by September 23, 2025, will be demitted from Virtual Secondary School.
