COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream Funding Project
Our School has a COVID-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream Funding Project.

Welcome to Wellesworth Junior School! We are the 'little school with the big heart', which is visible in our hallways, classrooms, and schoolyard. We believe in learning and we believe in community.

Our school is committed to continuous improvement in student achievement and well-being. Our students demonstrate a love and passion for learning.  Through teamwork, as a collaborative and caring staff, we provide programming and experiences that support our students’ growth and development as learners and citizens. Part of this collaboration is our ongoing commitment to delivering the skills within our classrooms to prepare our students to be critical thinkers, lifelong learners and caring community members.

We value the contributions our families provide to encourage and support their children. We welcome parents as volunteers within our school and invite you to participate in our monthly School Council meetings and events.

I look forward to working with each and every one of you to help your child develop the tools, life skills and knowledge to reach their full potential.

Yours Sincerely,

Leanne Bellec

Leading and Learning: At Wellesworth Junior School, our students are developing the academic skills that will allow them to excel in the 21st century. In addition to learning our Ontario curriculum, Wellesworth students have opportunities to be involved in many extracurricular activities ranging from joining the Eco Club to being Library Helpers.
Our students participate in many athletic activities where they develop team skills and cooperative attitudes. Thanks to our fantastic parent volunteer leaders and sponsors, our snack program provides students with nutrition that sustains their learning. Wellesworth Junior School is an amazing place to learn and lead.
