REGISTRATION: Registration for the 2022-2023 school year will begin in February. Children who will be four by December 31, 2022 (born in the year 2018), can start Junior Kindergarten in September 2022. https://www.tdsb.on.ca/Find-your/School/Registration.
DOCUMENTS for registration:
- Proof of age (birth certificate, Canadian passport, Canadian Citizenship card or certificate or baptismal record).
- Proof of address, including any two of the following current documents: lease or deed, car registration, utility bill, residential telephone bill, moving bill, property tax bill, health card, bank statement, credit card statement, or correspondence from a government agency.
- If your child was not born in Canada, verification of arrival. Families who are permanent residents and refugee claimants may register directly at the school. Children without immigration status are welcome in our schools and information about them or their families will not be shared with immigration authorities. - For single parents, the school will need documentation regarding custody/guardianship arrangements where it isn't shared.
- Immunization information is no longer collected at the school level. Rather, immunization is reported online with Toronto Public Health. Please report online at www.toronto.ca/studentvaccines. From February through March, Toronto Public Health identifies students who are not immunized and who do not have an exemption and these students are suspended until either the exemption is in place or until the immunizations are updated.
- Toronto Public Health accepts and translates foreign immunization records.
