Welcome to BC's Sports Teams and Clubs page.
Here are BC we have offer a wide variety of clubs and teams for all. Our extra-curricular activities are run by our amazing teachers who choose to volunteer their time to enrich the school experience for students.
Sports Teams – Try-Out Criteria
When trying out, coaches will consider the following when choosing a team:
- Participation: attendance, preparedness, and punctuality
- Skill and Gameplay Understanding: understanding of rules, gameplay, and fundamental skills
- Performance in Drills and Strategies: successfully complete tasks, drills, and strategies taught during tryouts
- Coachability: paying attention to instructions and carrying them out, asking questions, and accepting and implementing feedback
- Team Play: Coaches seek players who prioritize team success. They also look for players who demonstrate the ability to work effectively and cooperate within the team environment
Please note: If the number of student-athletes trying out is greater than the number of spaces available on the team, not all students will be selected. Selections are made at the coaches discretion
Because participating in extracurricular activities is a privilege, not a right, to be a part of any team or club at BC, the expectations below must be followed:
