Flag Rugby - Intermediate ultimate: Mr. Cabaluna and Ms. Dimitropoulos. Anyone interested in playing Flag Rugby in grades 5, 6, 7 and 8, both boys and girls, please come and sign up outside Mr. Hopkins room, room 107, this week! Practices will start next week, after school. 

The first tryouts for intermediate ultimate frisbee are today at 3:35 on the field. Make sure the EMA forms are filled out. See you then!

Days of Significance: For Orthodox Holy Friday, many Orthodox Christians attend church services during the Holy Week that leads up to Easter Sunday, especially on Holy Friday. For many Orthodox Christians, Holy Friday is a strict day of fasting, and some Orthodox churches may have a Good Friday liturgy in the afternoons or evenings.
International Family Equality Day (IFED) celebrates the diversity of LGBTQ+ families around the world, and takes place every year on the first Sunday in May. 

Orthodox Easter Sunday is celebrated on Sunday, May 5th 2024. and 
Red Dress Day: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People honours the memories of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls across Canada. Métis artist Jaime Black helped inspire the red dress movement, where red dresses are hung from windows and trees to represent the pain and loss felt by loved ones and survivors.
