Hello Bowmore!

Days of Significance: International Day of Pink, observed on the second Wednesday of April, is a global anti-bullying and anti-homophobia event, where people wear pink to show solidarity with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and stand against discrimination.
Vimy Ridge Day is a day to commemorate the deaths and casualties of members of the Canadian Corps in the Battle of Vimy Ridge, which took place during the First World War. The holiday has been observed annually on 9 April since 2003. It is a non-statutory observance.

Office - Easter Egg Hunt starts today! Eggs will be hidden outside and can only be searched for during recess and lunch (no hunting during class time or transitions).
Students are allowed to find and keep only ONE egg per child.
Once they find an egg, they must hold onto it until the end of the day, then head to Mr. Cabaluna's Room 104 to trade it in for a small prize!
The hunt will start only for the afternoon recess so we can give our little friends a chance to find them!

Mme Riddle and Ms Rahbek - Primary Chess Club: Primary Chess Club meets today for students in Session C. Eat your lunch in the lunchroom and then come to Room 8 at 12:15.

Mr. Rea - 3 v 3 Basketball: Grades 7 and 8 Basketball starts after school on Thursday. We will play 3 on 3 games. All abilities are welcome. Complete the EMA form if you want to join.

Have a wonderful day of learning!
