Ms. Jarvis - Forest of Reading Winners
Hello Everyone. Here are the results from our Forest of Reading votes. Thank you to all the classes and the students in the book clubs who participated. Drum Roll Please….. For the Prix Peuplier the winner was Si J’avais Su, For Blue Spruce the winner is The Lost Stick, For Silver Birch, the winner is Iggy Included and finally for Red Maple the winner is Tig.
Silver Birch and Red Maple will continue their meeting next week until we go to the Festival to find out the winners from across Ontario. All Forest of Reading Books are no open to check out of the library. Happy Reading, Bowmore!
Mr. Hopkin - Flag Rugby: Anyone interested in playing rugby, even if you have never played before, please sign up outside room 107 this week.
We will start practises next week after school, where you will learn the game and try to make the team. This is open to all boys and girls in grades 5, 6, 7 and 8.

Ms. Piumbini - The Junior classes will welcome the Little Pear Garden Dance Company for a prologue presentation on today, in the senior gym at 1:15pm.
The senior gymnasium will be in use from 12:30pm-2:30pm.

Office - Starting today, Grade 6 PALS students will be supporting students during either morning, lunch or afternoon recess. They will be wearing green pinnies and their purpose is to show leadership, help resolve conflicts and lead games.
Ultimate Frisbee

Ultimate Frisbee is starting TODAY after school at 3:30 PM and it’s about to be a whole MOVIE.
Lace up those dusty sneakers, grab a water bottle, and bring the vibes because we are about to eat on the field.
Never thrown a frisbee before? That’s literally fine — fake it till you make it, queen.
We’re throwing discs, serving looks, and living our best lives.
Low-key, it’s giving Olympic athlete.
Catch frisbees, not feelings. See you at 3:30!

Senior Boys Basketball - We’d like to give a huge shoutout and congratulations to our Senior Boys Basketball Team for placing 3rd at the Eastdale Collegiate Invitational Tournament last Thursday!
The team played with heart, hustle, and true Bowmore spirit. They worked together, supported each other, and showed what it means to play as a team. We’re so proud of the way they represented Bowmore, not just with their skills, but with their sportsmanship and teamwork.
Way to go, team — you made us proud!
