What You Should Know About Volunteer/Community Hours
- Students are required to complete 40 hours of community involvement as part of the requirement for their diploma.
- Students must complete activities that are eligible according to the Ministry of Education Guidelines.
- Students are encouraged to do more than required 40 hours: Volunteering encourages civic responsibilities, promotes community values and supports career exploration. Many scholarships are tied into NOT ONLY marks but community involvement as well.
- Completed Community Hour Sheets are to be handed in to the Guidance office.
- Students may pick-up a copy of the Community Hours Sheet from the Guidance Office. Or click on the following link to print a copy of the form.
