Kindergarten registration for new students begins in January for the following school year.

Please check the "Find Your School Section" on the TDSB Website to find out if Cedarvale is your designated Elementary School.

If Cedarvale is your Elementary School, please use the TDSB online registration tool to begin this process. This tool will default to your home school based on the address you input.

Once you have completed the online application form Cedarvale's Office Administrator will call you when appointments are being made to finalize registration.

Please be prepared to provide the following documents at your appointment (Please bring original documents for verification, they will be returned to you immediately):

• Proof of age (birth certificate or passport)
• Proof of address (two pieces of identification that show your address (excluding drivers license), such as a purchase or lease agreement, bank statement and/or utility bill. Original copies will be required for verification and will be returned to you immediately.
• OHIP Card and Proof of immunization (the card that shows a list of needles your child has received)
• Verification of date of arrival, if your child was not born in Canada. Families who are permanent residents and refugee claimants may register directly at the school. Children without immigration status are welcome in our schools and information about them or their families will not be shared with immigration authorities. To register, please visit the International Programs and Admissions Office at 5050 Yonge Street, Toronto, for a TDSB school admission letter.

Please note: only parents or legal guardians can register a child for TDSB programs.
