The Summer Institute is an exciting 3-week course for students entering Grade 9 in September. The program:

• Builds rapport between grade 9 students and teachers
• Eases the stress of transitioning to a new school
• Enables students to become familiar with the routines of high school, expectations, assessments and assignments
• Gives students an opportunity to earn a high school credit before they start high-school in September
• Will provide breakfast and lunch to students

Experiential learning is embedded in this program. There are several different trips during the course, including an Amazing Downtown Race.

The program is available only to students who are registered at Winston Churchill C.I. for Grade 9 in September.

How To Register:

• Registration forms are released in May and must be submitted by mid-June
