Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute

All TDSB schools, sites and administrative buildings will be closed to students and most staff on Monday, January 26, due to ongoing snow removal and a Major Snow Storm Condition and Significant Weather Event declared by the City of Toronto. All Child Care centres and before and after school programs located in TDSB schools will also be closed, and all permits will be cancelled for the day. All in-person Continuing Education after school and evening courses are also cancelled. This includes – International Languages Elementary and African Heritage, Learn4Life Community Programs and Adult ESL.

All exams previously scheduled for Monday will be written on Wednesday instead.

Though teachers will make efforts to remind classes of their exam times and expectations, it is every student's responsibility to review the instructions and schedule carefully and to be on time prepared for each exam.

ALL TDSB Schools Closed Today. In response to Environment Canada’s continued Snowfall Warning for the City of Toronto and the expected snow throughout the day, please note all TDSB schools, administrative buildings and sites are closed to students and staff today. All Child Care Centres and before and after school programs located in TDSB schools are also closed, and all permits are cancelled for the day.

Our Open House is from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday November 5, 2025.

As we expect a large number of guests, every hour we will be holding three identical auditorium sessions, with guided and self-guided tours available throughout the evening to allow prospective students and families to get more information about our programs direct from staff and students who will be at key stations around the building.

Families can plan to arrive 5, 6, or 7 and still get the benefit of both the auditorium presentation and tour opportunities.

This is also a late start schedule, which means classes will start at 9:55 and end at 12:10. 
Parent Teacher Interviews will run from 1:00 - 3:00 and 5:30 - 7:30.
