Ready for Exams

Here’s the exam schedule, and the announcement sent out by Ms. Ellam. Make sure to check it closely - missed exams will result in a zero! If you have an exam conflict, or are medically unable to write on the day of the exam, see your Vice Principal for support.



Commencement

Guest Tickets are available through School Cash Online and cost $25 each.

Graduates do not require a ticket, and there is no cost to graduates for the cap, gown, or the event.

In the event that a parent / guardian faces a financial hardship and requires a subsidy, please contact your child's Vice Principal to make arrangements.


Notice: commencement cap/gown and ticket pick-up

Caps, gowns, and commencement tickets will be available for pick-up during lunch in the Auditorium on the following dates:

  • June 15 (Monday): For those students who completed the grad survey by March 1st!
  • June 16 (Tuesday): For all remaining students.

Late/Alternate Pick-up: Please visit the Guidance Office during exam week June 16-23 to collect your items.

Please carefully review the arrival times and schedule details below for our upcoming commencement day ceremony:

Date: Tuesday, June 23, 2026

Location: Parkview Manor (55 Barber Greene Rd, North York)

🕒 Ceremony Timeline & Arrival Instructions

To help us stay on schedule and ensure every graduate is properly lined up for the processional, please adhere strictly to the following timeline:

  • 1:00 PM – Student Report Time: All graduating students must report directly to Hall D at this time. This allows our coordinators to organize the processional line and complete final pre-ceremony checks.

  • 1:30 PM – Doors Open for Guests: Doors will officially open to families and caregivers. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so please have your tickets ready at the door. Note this is a fully accessible venue.

  • 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM – Ceremony Duration: The formal Commencement ceremony will take place during this window. We kindly ask that all guests remain seated for the entire duration to honor every single graduate as they cross the stage.

🚗 Parking & Transportation

  • Parking: There is plenty of free, complimentary parking available on-site at Parkview Manor for all graduates and guests.
  • TTC Transit: The venue is accessible by public transit via the TTC.

Boundary Changes

Danforth's boundary was dissolved in May 2024 when the TDSB voted to eliminate Technical and Commercial Boundaries. For the 2025-26 school year, Danforth will become an application only school serving the entire City of Toronto. Students interested in attending Danforth from 2025 on, will be required to apply through the Secondary School Without a Boundary (SSWAB) Process in January.
