Registration for all TDSB Kindergarten programs begins in February 2023. Children who will be four by December 31, 2023, can start Junior Kindergarten in September 2023.  New registrations are completed with the TDSB's Online Registration system.  For more information about the registration process, please visit the TDSB's Registration web page.

To start a new registration, visit the TDSB's Online Registration websites (Kindergarten or Grades 1 to 12). Once you have completed your online registration, please email our office staff, Ms. Martino (Jessica.Martino@tdsb.on.ca) and Ms. Gioris (Vasiliki.Gioris@tdsb.on.ca) so they can follow up to complete the registration for our school.

Please note: Only parents or legal guardians can register a child for TDSB programs.

When registering, please make sure you have documents that provide proof of:

1. Your child's age (e.g., birth certificate, Canadian passport, Canadian Citizenship card or certificate or baptismal record)
2. Your primary address (which includes any two of the following current documents): Utility bill (e.g. hydro, gas, water), Cable TV, internet, home phone bill, Insurance policy (home, tenant, auto or life), Mortgage statement, Rental or lease agreement or deed, Current purchase and sale agreement, Property tax bill or notice of tax assessment, Original correspondence from a government agency or legal clinic may be accepted as a second proof of address document
3. Your child's immunization history (the card that shows a list of vaccinations that your child has received)

If your child was not born in Canada, you will also need to verify her or his arrival date in Canada. Families who are permanent residents and refugee claimants may register directly at the school. Children without immigration status are welcome in our schools and information about them or their families will not be shared with immigration authorities. Q: Our child is in JK.  Do we have to register for SK? 

A: No, Kindergarten Registration is only for registering children who are not already attending a Junior Kindergarten (JK) or Senior Kindergarten (SK) program.  

Q: How can our child attend JK in September 2023?

A: If you live in our attendance area and your child will be four-years-old by December 31, 2023, your child can register to attend JK at Eglinton Jr.  PS. Check your address here:  Find Your School

Q: Our child isn’t in a Kindergarten program.  How can they attend SK in September 2023?

A: If you live in our attendance area and if your child will be five-years-old by December 31, 2023, your child can be registered at Eglinton PS.

Q: What forms do we need for registration?

A: You can complete the online Student Registration Form and our office staff will follow up with you.

Q: We live at one of the redirected addresses.  Can we register our child at Eglinton Jr.  PS?

A: Unfortunately, families who live at a redirected address are not able to register children at Eglinton Jr. PS. Check your address here:
