The business program at Emery C.I offers a wide range of courses for Emery students. These courses a separated to suite each students interest and skill set. Intro to business is open to the grade 9 students and 10 students and can then move onto advanced business studies in grades 11 and 12. The courses available include finance, accounting, marketing, and economics. These courses teach students a variety of skills and techniques that can be used later on. Students will learn corporate retailing strategies, how global companies function and earn profit and how all national and global economies function etc. Students get an idea of how the business field works.
