The ACE Program

The Advanced Credit Experience is a unique program that allows students to gain post-secondary experience before they graduate from high school.

Students attend York University for one semester to complete a first year, university, course, as well as an on-campus coop placement. Students earn 4 high school credits and ½ a university credit.

This program allows students to ease their way into post-secondary, as all A.C.E. students are supported by a teacher from Emery CI throughout their time at York.  Many students praise the A.C.E. program for helping them to learn the valuable skills making transition to university a successful experience.

One of the most significant parts of this program is that students are awarded scholarships based on their performance; those earning an A in the A.C.E. program will receive a $5000 York scholarship!  Read more..
