Lillian Public School

About Lillian Public School

Lillian Public School is located at 1059 Lillian Street in Toronto, south of Steeles Avenue between Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue.

Our school is a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5 school and serves a student community of about 310 children. Our School Council and community are very involved in bringing programs and activities to enhance the learning of our children. Our feeder schools, where our children attend after Lillian, are generally Cummer Valley Middle School, Avondale, and Newtonbrook Secondary School depending on residence.

Our dedicated staff of teachers, support assistants, lunch supervisors, office personnel and custodians are committed to making Lillian a great place to learn for all of our children.

Welcome to our school web site. As part of the Toronto District School Board, we value each and every student;

  • a strong public education system;
  • a partnership of students, schools, family and community;
  • the uniqueness and diversity of our students and our community;
  • the commitment and skills of our staff;
  • equity, innovation, accountability and accessibility; and
  • learning environments that are safe, nurturing, positive and respectful.

Our web site is one way we can demonstrate these values. Click on the menu items to find out more about our school and please visit often.

Please note:
Given the significant growth over the last few years, Lillian is Limited Open to Optional Attendance for the 2020-2021 school year. Families that live outside of our catchment area are not eligible to attend Lillian. You can find information about which school is your home school by going to the school board website at www.tdsb.on.ca and using the "Find Your School" feature on the left panel of the home page. This will allow you to determine your home school path from elementary to secondary.
