SCHOOL VISITORS 

We are very proud of our school and welcome visitors to our building. However, in the interest of everyone’s safety, we ask that all visitors report to the office upon arrival. You are requested to enter through the front using the “buzzer”. Please ring the “buzzer “once only, patience is appreciated. If you need to speak to your child or a teacher, please come to the office and do not go directly to the classroom. Your cooperation with minimizing interruptions during instructional hours for all our students is greatly appreciated. Please remember to call ahead to make an appointment to see your child’s teacher so that the teacher can be prepared to give you the attention you deserve. 

SCHOOL ENTRY

The school day at Lillian begins with the first bell at 8:41 am. Our dismissal is at 3:15 pm for our regular classes. 

Students are to enter the building through the appropriately assigned class doors immediately after the entry bell at 8:41 am for morning classes and the entry bell at 12:26 pm for afternoon classes. Students are not to enter before these times without the permission of a staff member. 

At entry time in the morning and in the afternoon, all students in Grades 1-5 should enter through their regular classroom entrance doors. Parents are asked to drop off their children in the schoolyard. 

If taking your child out for lunch, you will need to come to the office to sign them out.  Please sign them back in upon your return.  

Please note that the schoolyard is supervised before school from 8:26 to 8:41 am and after school from 3:15 to 3:30 pm. During these times the teachers are supervising entry/dismissal, not the play structure, therefore it can not be utilized by the community until after 3:30 pm (with adult supervision).
