All staff are encouraged to offer volunteer opportunities for students outside of class time. Contacts within the Parkdale community are collated in the Volunteer Now pamphlet found in the Guidance Office. A Volunteer Fair is organized annually for all students to connect with organizations and sign up for volunteer positions. During the last week of May, Home Form teachers total the students’ volunteer hours, which is collected in their Student Agendas. The hours are entered on a tracking sheet which is sent to the Guidance Office and recorded onto their Credit Counselling Summary.
