POLICE REFERENCE CHECK (Vulnerable Sector Screening):

We truly appreciate the time and contributions that parent/guardian/caregiver volunteers have to offer.  If you wish to volunteer at any TDSB school, including Rolph Road, a current Police Reference Check must be on file in the TDSB Volunteer Database and updated annually. Once the initial reference check is complete you are required to complete an Annual Offence Declaration Form which can be obtained from our school office.

More information about volunteering at TDSB schools is available HERE.  There are two options for obtaining your Police Reference Check.

FASTER OPTION 1 |

•          Request a Police Reference Check form (full, legal sized paper) from Ms. Anna in the office.

•          Complete the form and submit your application in person at the Police Reference Check Program’s “drop off box” located in the lobby at 40 College Street.

•          Ensure you have included a $20.00 Certified Check or Money Order payable to the "Toronto Police Service" as personal cheques are not accepted.

•         Once you have been checked and cleared, you will receive the "Cleared PRC"  in the mail from the Toronto Police. Please bring  the "Cleared PRC" results to Ms. Anna in the office so it can be scanned to the Board’s PRC office. Your name will then be added to Rolph Road’s Volunteer Roster.

OPTION 2 |

•          Request a Police Reference Check form (full, legal sized paper) from Ms. Anna in the office.

•          Complete the form and return it to school, to the attention of Ms. Anna along with a $20.00 Certified Cheque or Money Order payable to the "Toronto Police Service”.

•          Ms. Anna will submit your form and payment.

•          Once you have been checked and cleared, you will receive the "Cleared PRC"  in the mail from the Toronto Police. Please bring  the "Cleared PRC" results to Ms. Anna in the office so it can be scanned to the Board’s PRC office. Your name will then be added to Rolph Road’s Volunteer Roster.

Returning volunteers who previously had a Police Reference Check are asked to please contact Ms. Anna in the office. If you have a valid/active reference check you will need to complete an annual declaration. Please speak to Ms. Anna to verify your name on the list or to complete the declaration , or ask for one from our office.
