Eligibility for the JK/SK Program at Rolph Road Elementary School-- Rolph Road Elementary School is considered a "closed" school, which means that we are unable to admit students who live outside of our catchment area.  Find your School here. Under certain circumstances, students who are enrolled in the Rolph Road Daycare are able to enter into the Full Day Kindergarten Program at Rolph Road Elementary. Please see below for more information.

Kindergarten Registration for September 2022-23 School Year: Registration for Kindergarten begins in February 2022. We look forward to welcoming you and your child.

  • Children who will be 4 by December 31, 2022 / who are born in 2018 are eligible to start Junior Kindergarten in September 2022
  •  If you know families in the community who would like to register, please pass on this information and have them email our School Office . Only parents or legal guardians can register their children for school. 
  • The 2022-23 Full Day Kindergarten Online Registration portal is now OPEN . Please proceed to Register your child(ren) . 

Kindergarten On-Line Registration:
Step 1

  • Check your address if in our catchment first. Find your school -> click here 
  • Please send an email to our General Mailbox -> 
  • Access to the 2022-23 Online Registration Portal to complete the Application segment--> Now Open .

Step 2
The following documents are required to support and complete the registration:

Documentation Required | The following documents are required when registering a child to attend TDSB school. These documents will be viewed at your Virtual Registration appointment.

  • Proof of Age, 1 piece: birth certificate, Canadian passport, Canadian Citizenship card or certificate or baptismal record.
  • Proof of Address, 2 of the following current documents: Utility bill (e.g. hydro, gas, water), cable TV, internet, or home phone bill, insurance policy (home, tenant, auto or life), mortgage statement, rental or lease agreement or deed, current purchase and sale agreement, property tax bill or notice of tax assessment. Original correspondence from a government agency or legal clinic may be accepted as a second proof of address document.
  • Proof of immunization (the card that shows a list of needles your child has received):
    1.  Report online
    2. If unable to report online, parents can provide immunization information to the school and the school will mail a copy to Toronto Public Health. Toronto Public Health accepts and translates foreign immunization records.
    3. If requesting an exemption, call  416-392-1250. 
  • Verification of date of arrival, if your child was not born in Canada. Families who are permanent residents and refugee claimants may register directly at the school. Children without immigration status are welcome in our schools and information about them or their families will not be shared with immigration authorities. SCHOOL OFFICE SUMMER DATES | Our school office will be open until Friday July 8, 2022, and closed for the summer from July 11th - August 26th, 2022 - not having access to emails. Office will re-open August 29th, 2022.
