Kindergarten Info

Registration for all TDSB Kindergarten programs begins in February. Parents/guardians will have the option of registering their child in-person at school or beginning the registration process via online registration (OLR).

Regardless of which process caregivers select, they will be required to visit the local school to validate registration information.

At Davisville Public School we will be registering students on

Please Book an Appointment using the button below.

Please ensure that you have completed the Online Registration before booking an appointment. Alternatively if you would not like to use the Online Registration System. Please pick up a registration package from the school office prior to booking your appointment. Registration packages will be handed out at the Kindergarten Information Night on 6th February.

Please come to your appointment with the following for the Student

1. All completed forms in the Registration Package (Available from the school office 7th February onwards)
2. Canadian Birth Certificate or Passport
3. Immigration information or PR card (If born outside of Canada)
4. Health Card
5. Record of Immunization along with a completed “Request for Immunization Information for New Students” (provided in the Kindergarten Registration Package you receive at the school)
6. Proof of residency - Any Two
   • Current Lease or Deed
   • Current Utility Bill
   • Current Property Tax Bill
   • Original Interim Property Tax Bill
   • Recent correspondence from a government agency
   • Most recent original Income Tax Assessment (personal information on document may be blocked out)
   • Recent correspondence from a Municipal, Federal or Provincial government agency
7. Contact information of parents/guardians/caregivers (all numbers including home, cell, business)
8. An emergency contact other than parents/guardians/caregivers, who live in the area (grandparent/neighbour/friend/relative)

Please note Registration will NOT be completed without ALL of the requested information. Photocopies, driver’s license, bank or cell phone statements are not accepted

Optional Attendance Operational Procedure PR545

Please note that should a parent decide to withdraw their child from Davisville's French Immersion Program, the child would attend their "home" school for the English Program. French Immersion is a placed program and there is no option to transfer from Davisville's French Immersion Program to another French Immersion Program. Should a parent withdraw their child from Davisville's English Program, they can apply through Optional Attendance to another school - but note, once at that new school, there is no right of return to Davisville as Davisville is closed to optional attendance.
