Registration Information
Students currently NOT ATTENDING a TDSB school who live in the A Y Jackson S. S. catchment must begin the registration
process on the TDSB registration webpage.
If you are a current TDSB Student and have moved into our catchment area and would like to register, please call 416-395-3140 ext. 20040 or
email our GUIDANCE for more information. Please be sure it include your name, grade, student number and current school name in your email.
- Please note: Registration for the 2025/26 school year will open on February 1st. ThisTDSB video is a helpful resource that goes through the process.
- You must upload supporting documents (proof of address, etc.) to prove eligibility before registration is possible. The TDSB is very clear about the documentation required; providing incomplete information will delay and possibly impact the registration process.
- Documents will be reviewed, and our Guidance Office Administrator will contact you if more information is needed. If all document requirements have been met, we will contact you to book a registration appointment with a guidance counsellor.

What You Should Know About Volunteer/Community Hours
- Students are required to complete 40 hours of community involvement as part of the requirement for their diploma.
- Students must complete activities that are eligible according to the Ministry of Education Guidelines.
- Students are encouraged to do more than required 40 hours: Volunteering encourages civic responsibilities, promotes community values and supports career exploration. Many scholarships are tied into NOT ONLY marks but community involvement as well.
- Completed Community Hour Sheets are to be handed in to the Guidance office.
- Students may pick-up a copy of the Community Hours Sheet from the Guidance Office. Or click on the following link to print a copy of the form.
