Hello Bowmore!

Days of significance: Autism Awareness Day is observed every year on April 2nd across the world. This is another one of the United Nation's health-related days. This particular day, as the name suggests, is for raising awareness and educating people about Autism.

International Children's Book Day is celebrated every year on April 2nd, the birthday of the famous fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen. The International Board sponsors this worldwide observance on Books for Young People (IBBY), to commemorate the books that shape us all from a young age and the positive influence of literature on children and their development.

Mr. Comendador & Mr. Adamson - Grades 4 - 6 Boys: Any boys interested in trying out for the Grade 4-6 Softball Team, please sign up on the sign-up sheet on the main doors of the Big gym. Please write neatly and clearly. We will need your first and last name, your grade, Classroom number and Teacher name. Listen for announcement for when the first tryouts will be held. If you have any questions, please see Mr. C in the basement of the North building in Room 106.

Brewster - Rink safety: No students should be inside of the rink with the white boards at recesses or at lunch time. This is not an appropriate place to be at break times.

Brewster, Cabaluna, Luck, Selby - Track and Field: Track and Field: It’s not too late to join! The EMA forms are available for your parents to sign you up now. Practices and conditioning training will continue tomorrow, Thursday April 3rd at 8:00 am. As we are expecting rain, please meet us in the office lobby.
This week we will meet on Wed., Thursday and Friday at 8:00 am. Come to whichever practices you can. Next week we will break into smaller groups, with specific focus and attendance will become more essential.

Office - This is a reminder to all students about the use of technology during recess and lunch. Chromebooks are not allowed outside at any time—please keep them safely stored in your classrooms or lockers. Cell phones are not permitted during recess. They may only be used during lunch. Let’s all do our part to keep recess and lunch social, active, fun and safe. Thank you for following these expectations and helping to create a positive school environment!

Simpson, Ross, Brewster - D&D: The Dungeons and Dragons groups will meet at lunch today (Wednesday). Due to field trips and swim team, Mme Brewster’s group will not be adventuring today. Mr Davis is away today so Mr Davis’ group will not be playing today. Mme Brewster’s room, Mme Simpson’s room and Mr Ross’ room will be open.

Have a wonderful day of learning!
