Thursday, May 15, 2025 - Day 3

Hello Bowmore!

Mr. Hopkin - Flag Rugby: We are continuing our Flag Rugby practices after school today! Please make sure you are dressed and ready to go from 3.40 on the fields. Please make sure your parents or guardians have signed the EMA forms.
See you on the field!

Office - This is our Caring and Safe Schools message for the day. Cell phones should be put away and turned off. Recording others without permission is not allowed. Let’s respect everyone’s privacy.

Ms. Jarvis - Jr. Girls Slo Pitch: Congratulations to the Junior Girls Slo Pitch team for winning their first game yesterday. We beat Williamson Road 6-2. Your hard work is paying off! Way to go and see you tomorrow for practice.

Days of Significance: The International Day of Families is observed on 15 May every year. The Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 and reflects the importance the international community attaches to families.
Office

Attention staff and students! Due to construction, Door 6 is temporarily off-limits. Please use Doors 5 and 7 for entry and exit. We kindly ask everyone to walk patiently and safely, as these two entrances will be used by more students. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Ms. Jarvis - Forest of reading: A huge shout out to the over 60 students who went to the Forest of Reading festival. You demonstrated Bomwore’ Best behaviour. It was exciting to meet the authors of the Silver Birch and Red Maple books. The winners were A.Y. Chan for the book The Legendary Mo Seto and for the Red Maple the winner was Christina Kilbourne for the book 40 Days in Hicksville. Be sure to check these books out in the library! Happy Reading, Bowmore!

Have a wonderful day of learning!
