Hello Bowmore!

Here’s your Caring and Safe Schools message. Sometimes we have disagreements or problems with friends. When that happens, remember: fighting, yelling, or using inappropriate language is never the answer. The safe and respectful thing to do is ask an adult for help. We are all here to help you solve problems calmly and safely.

Miss Kollias, Miss. K and Coach Jon - Sr. Girls Slo-Pitch Team: A Big Cheer for the Senior Girls Slo-Pitch Team!
Yesterday, our Sr. Girls team played their hearts out in the cold and rain during the tournament. They started off super strong in both games, and even though things didn’t go their way in the end, their effort and teamwork were clear for everyone to see.
Way to go, ladies – we are so proud of you! Keep shining and working hard!

Mr. Seater - Sr. Boys Slo Pitch: For all Senior Boys Slo Pitch members - Bowmore Red’s practice today is cancelled. We will have a brief meeting Friday after school to talk about the quarter finals. Bowmore White is practicing Friday at lunch on the diamond. Be there by 12:10!

Ms. Reid, Mme Brewster and Mme Simpson - QSA: To all members of the QSA, a reminder that today’s QSA meeting is cancelled due to the Intermediate field trip. See you next week!

Ms. Jarvis - Slo Pitch: Just a reminder that the Junior Girls Slo Pitch team is hosting a tournament this morning. Please stay far away from the diamond while you are out for recess. Thank you. 

Mr. Hopkin - Grade 7 Flag Rugby: Congratulations to the grade 7s on their efforts in the rugby tournament yesterday. We were told that Bowmore had the best sportsmanship shown by all players from all the schools. Everyone had a lot of fun. We narrowly lost to the eventual champions, a lucky bounce here and there and we could have won, so we ended up in second place.
I was proud of all the players who played amazingly. Well done!
