Forest Hill Collegiate Institute

WELCOME TO FOREST HILL CI

Forest Hill CI LogoForest Hill Collegiate has a long history. The original building was erected in 1948 by the Board of Education for the Village of Forest Hill.  A total renovation of the school began in 1992 and the additions to the building were completed in the spring of 1994.  Classrooms are spread over four floors. The school is fortunate to have a swimming pool, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, and a large field.

Currently, Forest Hill has an enrolment of approximately 850 students and 50 teaching staff. It is a school with an undisputed reputation for academic excellence and a strong tradition of student participation and leadership. At Forest Hill, we believe in supporting the interests and passions of every student.  Our motto is Non Nobis Solum, Not for Ourselves Alone

The City of Toronto is currently doing paving work on the Vesta Drive circular entrance, while Ontario Hydro is working to replace watermains on Mayfair Avenue which had led to the closures of Shallmar and Vesta Drives.  Therefore, there is much construction on and around our school that will be causing traffic congestion during September 2024. Therefore, please consider walking or taking transit to school if able.  Thank you!
